8 months later

It’s been eight months since last time I wrote a single word here. 8 months of quietness, 8 months of doing other things.

It’s not that I haven’t had an urge to write. I love this little space of mine, the intimacy between you readers and my thoughts. The little messages I sometimes receive. Writing down my thoughts and ideas to clear my head.

But the thing is, I’ve been busy. Busy taking care of a very active toddler and her sisters, busy with everyday life, busy writing on a bigger project and busy starting up a small business of my own.

Juggling all of this and dealing with the emotions of trying to figure how not to lose myself in the midst of it all, left me with no option but to let something rest for a while. A long time ago, I decided, I didn’t want to try and turn my blog into a blooming business, and so giving the blog a rest and focusing on other things made more sense.

But now, I’ve decided to come back to the blog, whenever possible. To writing and posting and putting my thoughts down on paper.

The subject will be the same and different. Stuff about motherhood, on slow living and bringing up three daughters in a busy world. But also stuff about starting up a small handmade business, about finding time and energy for being creative in the midst of motherhood and about taking yourself serious as a business owner and all that comes with it.

Should you ever have any wishes in regards of subjects, something you want to know more about or something you just want to comment on, please write me a message, a comment or an email. I love to hear from you.

great to have you back again. Have missed not having any updates from Little kin over these last months.

  2. Welcome back, while I’ve missed your words and bright spirit, I knew you’d be back. I also never felt like you were too far. Keep writing your heart out friend. X

  3. I love reading what you write here, and enjoy hearing your thoughts and also love your creative inspirations. Like fun things you do with your kids, crafts, loved your cute Halloween costume ideas etc. I am a creative too and enjoy seeing what things you enjoy with your kids who are a little older than mine. Gets me excited to look forward to what I have in store in front of me as my daughter gets older. I have my own Interior design business in Chicago and NYC and also am intrigued to hear your small business experience as I continue to navigate through my own. Cheers!
